Day 20 is nearly over (my lastmeal is already planned and prepared).. Thank you for your answer - I am not yet at this part of the workbook. It's as you said, i expected to have a somehow automatical excitement response, but there isn't. It's so weird, usually I'd have given anything to be free bingefree for only a week, and know I don't appreciate it at all. I have the thought, that knowing that it will take so much Time to lose weight without food restriction and facing on the other side that enough calories is definitely a must to stay binge free. Do you also would like to lose some weight?

Hey hey, I've been quiet for a few days...things went up and down, but I can finally tell you about a very important progress: After almost a month I can define satiety, which was gone for a very long time! congratulations revondex I have to be honest - I am not yet at this point. At the moment It's more like I choose the size of my portions by.. my normal size+1/3 of it, because otherwise I don't eat enough calories. and yip, I am from Cologne. Are you from Germany as well? Today was a really weird day... I didn't eat enough yesterday evening and for breakfast so after my usual amout of lunch I didn't feel full at all. So i took a healthy snack but I still felt hungry. For the evening I made a biiig portion of couscoussalad and some farina with strawberries - as much as I could eat, pouf, the urge was gone. A typical example of "the origin of the urge is the need of the body for further food". But I am happy I feel like somehow reacting "normal" to a situation like this for the first time.

day 25 - already over! I don't have the energy to make sth ordinary to eat today I am thinking about going to buy at least a Fallafel or sth so that I eat enough. (for me the key for not getting the urge to binge)

sometimes I doubt having a prefrontal cortex at all , but, yes, I have one! It`s so worth it to work through the hard moments! Proud of you, girls! Keep going!

day 26 nearly over and for the weekend a friend visits me. I typically do not binge when I am not alone, so I am really close to the first month binge free Do you already have to feeling of really "overcoming" the habit Lily? Is your brain already somehow... rewired?

Hey all you great girls:))
I'm so amazed about everyone's progress! Today something important happened: I went out for lunch with 3 other girls and we were having asian food (huge plates). Of course I couldn't stop watching at how much the others would eat, so when I saw that ALL of my friends had leftovers on the plate, I too left some rice and finished before feeling satieted. SO STUPID! I would have felt somehow humiliated I thought when finishing it all, but the fact that I already missed breakfast left me hungry for the rest of the day. So it happened that I just had a huuge bowl of oats and bananas to finally fill me up. It felt so good, and I regret that I didn't have my rice before at the restaurant.
So again, LISTEN to your bodies, buddies^^! Don't care what other people think, focus on yourself. There is so much to learn along the way. Great having you. Sending hugs:)

day 43: liked your post it's so full of energy and good insights! For me, a difficult week ends, ready to tackle the next! What happened: two days ago, everything started quite fine, but then one bad choice was followed by a row of bad choices, let´s say all in all a small-sized binge. I did not loose control completely and got back on track the same evening. And although I expected it to be hard, yesterday went quite easy. I don´t want to dwell on it, I'm back on the road again, that's all what matters ! The simple truth is, it´s impossible to eat the urge away, it only reappears endlessly and gains strength. So when the urge is present, it´s a decision between a) giving in, suffering and get the next urge in an instant or b) resisting the urge which might be very unpleasant sometimes, but weakens the urges in the long run. Well, doomed to suffer a little , but granted b) is the better choice! I don`t recommend testing it, it was not a good experience... (and I definetly don´t talk about real hunger signals here!!!!)
