Hello everyone! I'm a non-native English speaker and I'm reading Kathryn's second book, which by far resonates with me greatly. I try to write honest answers to all the questions in there but recently I faced a problem, reading part II chapter 6. Here's a screenshot of the chart from here (I hope I inserted the image right). So I cant quite understand the meaning of "costs" in "costs of quitting binge eating" for example. First I filled in the chart, but then I continued to read and it said that "the costs of binge eating are greater than its benefits" and "the benefits of quitting are greater than the costs of quitting", and I got very confused because in my understanding of the "cost" these statements don't make any sense. I looked it up in a dictionary but still don't get it Could someone please explain what does the "costs" mean there? I'd be very grateful! I feel like this chart is very important for further use and I want to do it properly.

Costs means disadvantages so it's basically all the bad things about it
