16 Months Binge Free!

Hi All,



So excited to say I threw out a few Bras (all too big now!!!) and some pants (swimming on me!)! Also, a coat my mother bought me several years ago, when I was on a diet, is now looser than when I bought it! No dieting needed!!! 16 months almost entirely binge free (trouble spot at 6 mos mark), eating whatever and whenever I want (amazing freedom!), and I am losing weight effortlessly and continually!  Although I'm not even "trying," and I don't ever (EVER!) weigh myself anymore!

I am positively filled with gratitude for BOB and for my Maker, and feel blessed now, DAILY!! FREEDOM feels remarkable!!!



I'm even a Binge Eating Recovery Coach now in my spare time! (I'm a Holistic Chef and Classical Singer). I love to write emails, and I enjoyed my time on the old BOB Forum so much when I was first starting out, that I kind of fell into helping (and eventually coaching) others from the BOB Forum who were still struggling. I can't tell you how gratifying it is to watch people go from complete dysfunction and defeat...to happiness, freedom, confidence, empowerment, and JOY!



But, alas, each of my little babies soon graduate to their binge-free lives, rather astonishing quickly, I might add! This Mother Hen is in the market for a new baby chick to mentor! I don't have kids, so I need an outlet for all of this amazingly blissed out love, nurturing, compassion, and desire to give attention and encouragement...that are literally wanting to explode right out of me!  I can tell you, I use the word Hallelujah a lot when coaching, because i don't know how else to express the overwhelming JOY in my heart, for my own recovery, and the ability to help others achieve theirs!

Hi,
I just loved your post, very inspiring. I am 4 days binge free and still reading the book. I am a bit anxious as i had a chocolate bar yesterday but nothing like binging. Not sure if i should weight myself or just wait to see what happens after a couple of weeks. I am getting married in July and the dieting / weight is very important as i want to look good in my big day. :-)

Great to hear!! I'm now 2.5days binge free and halfway through the book. BOB is amazing!!!! Like a miracle revelation to me after 16 years of soul searching (I'm 30).

I would like some social support in this process, as I never usually work with 'peers' in my various recovery efforts, apart from a brief spell in OA which was pretty much useless although pretty mind-expanding at the time. It would be great to have a mentor/skype/email pal who understands if you can chat from time to time?

As I wrote in my post I'm back to bingeing after three months of being binge free. I'm devastated and wanna get back on track, but am having a hard time doing so. I've never done the social support thing, but maybe it's time to try. I'm sending you a PM!
